UNSCHEDULED REPAIRS OF CITY OF BOSTON BRIDGES AND STRUCTURES

The City of Boston, acting through its Chief of Streets, invites sealed bids for the performance of the work generally described above, and particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bids. Bid documents may be obtained online via the City of Boston Supplier Portal (procurement.boston.gov) under Event ID EV00015610 commencing at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025. The work to be done under this contract consists of furnishing various artisans (ironworkers, mechanics, welders, carpenters, laborers, etc.) and materials, supplies and equipment, to perform repairs to bridges owned by the City of Boston. 

Capital Improvement Project #25-91

MassDOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as Bridge - Construction, for the project with an estimated value of $13,017,125  will be required. A contractor that is not prequalified for the value above but wants to bid a project must submit a waiver request to MassDOT at least 2 weeks prior to the project’s bid opening date.

Every Sealed bid shall be submitted in accordance with the invitation for bids and shall be filed no later than Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 11:00AM via the online Supplier Portal.

Sealed bids shall be opened read aloud through a virtual meeting (meet.google.com/kro-nbex-us) by the Official, Public Works on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 1:00PM.
