PMD – TOBIN MEDIA ACCESS CENTER

The City of Boston acting by its Property Management Department, through its Commissioner of the Property Management Department (PMD), hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites sealed bids for the above-entitled project.

The scope of work includes renovation of the existing building for the new Tobin Media Access Center in Roxbury, MA. The work includes construction of concrete masonry units and light gauge framed walls, interior storefront and windows, gypsum wall board, flooring, insulation, interior painting, interior signage, furnishings, HVAC and electrical work as further detailed in the plans and specifications which will be available on or about March 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. through the City of Boston Supplier Portal at boston.gov/departments/procurement Event ID EV00015528 or electronically by emailing pmdbidinfo@boston.gov.

A site visit has been scheduled for all interested vendors on March 19, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. 

Deadline for questions: March 26, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. All questions must be submitted in writing directly to pmdbidinfo@boston.gov.

All filed Sub-Bids shall be filed with the Awarding Authority at the PMD Bid Counter, Boston City Hall, Room 811, Boston, MA before 12:00 p.m. (twelve o'clock) on April 10, 2025, at which time and place respective Sub-Bids will be opened forthwith and read aloud. LATE SUB-BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

All General Bids shall be filed with the Awarding Authority at the PMD Bid Counter, Boston City Hall, Room 811, Boston, MA or on the City’s Supplier Portal, before 12:00 p.m. (twelve o'clock) on April 17, 2025, at which time and place respective General Bids will be opened forthwith and read aloud. LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

General bid: General Building Construction

Filed Sub-bids and General Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid bond deposit of amount bid, DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility (approved in the applicable trade/category of work) and DCAMM Update Statement. All interested bidders are directed to the bid specifications and plans for full information on any and all requirements applicable to this bid.
