GREEN SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOLS DESIGN SERVICES

The City of Boston, through its Public Works Department (PWD), hereby invites written proposals for the project listed above. The Office of Green Infrastructure (OGI) seeks a consultant to provide design services for the first Green & Safe Routes to School project. This contract will result in plans to make existing quick-build improvements permanent, as well as incorporate climate resilience best practices (e.g. vegetated green infrastructure, tree planting, built shade/cooling infrastructure, seating and other site furnishings, etc.) to enhance the environment for two City of Boston schools.

 

Proposals will be solicited through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/departments/procurement

Contract Documents will be available through the Supplier Portal on or about: 9:00am on Monday, January 20th, 2025.

Submit Questions via email to StreetsContracts@boston.gov by 12:00pm on Monday, February 3rd, 2025. Please direct all RFP questions to StreetsContracts@boston.gov. The project manager for this contract will be Katherine England, Katherine.England@boston.gov.

Proposals shall be submitted via the Supplier Portal before 11:00 A.M., Boston time, on Friday, February, 7th 2025. The bid opening shall be conducted at 12:00pm via a public google meets link (meet.google.com/nzt-mjtp-pmv).
