Coastal Resilience Graphic Design Services

The City is seeking a skilled consultant or consultant team who can help shape and communicate plans for critical coastal resilience infrastructure.

The City of Boston is partnering with the US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) on a plan to ensure the long term coastal resilience of Boston.  Over the next three years, the USACE will be developing designs for coastal resilient infrastructure that reduces risk to the city for generations.  The City is seeking a consultant or consultant team (Consultant), with experience in landscape architecture, who can help provide feedback on these designs and deliver renderings and models of these designs for further public engagement and feedback.

This project is part of a formal Coastal Storm Risk Management Study.  Its results will be submitted to Congress in 2028 for approval, unlocking USACE collaboration and federal financing for further design and construction. The selected consultant will be awarded a 36-month contract.

Copies of the Request for Proposals  (RFP) containing proposal requirements, selection criteria, and other relevant information will be available from the City’s purchasing website and Supplier Portal (boston.gov/procurement) under Event ID EV00014874 or at the City of Boston’s Environment Department, Room 709, Boston City Hall, Boston, MA 02201 from Monday, December 23, 2024 until January 17, 2025 4:00 pm.
