Furnishing Mechanical Sweepers for Daytime Highways and Streets Cleaning

The City of Boston, acting by its Commissioner, invites sealed bids for the performance of Furnishing Mechanical Sweepers for the Purpose of Supplementing the Departmental Forces and Equipment in Connection with the Daytime Work of Keeping the Highways and Streets Clean in the City of Boston, and work particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bids.

Bid package may be obtained by visiting the Supplier Portal at boston.gov/supplier portal and searching for Event ID EV00013866, commencing at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024. 

 A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at 400 Frontage Road Room 203, Boston, MA 02118.

A 5% or $50,000 Bid Bond (whichever is less) is required with the submission of each bid. A 100% Performance Bond will be required of the successful bidder.

Every Sealed bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Invitation for Bids and shall be filed not later than Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. via the City’s Supplier Portal at boston.gov/supplier portal or emailed to stephen.flaherty@boston.gov with the email subject EV00013866 COB Daytime Street Sweepers IFB. 

Sealed Bids shall be opened read aloud through a virtual meeting by the Official, Public Works on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Boston City Hall, Boston, MA. Interested parties will be able to view the event live through a link provided by Public Works, upon receiving your bid submission.
