The City of Boston, acting by and through its Public Facilities Commission by the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH) and Boston Home Center, is seeking Building Sciences Services for its Small Building Green Energy Retrofits Pilot (“Pilot”).

The Pilot seeks to reduce the energy consumption and carbon emissions of existing 2-4 unit affordable housing across the city.  For those who qualify and are selected for the Pilot, the Mayor’s Office of Housing (“MOH”) will provide financing and construction project management.

Funds are awarded subject to American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) regulations. Funds will be awarded at MOH’s discretion to the selected vendor.

The RFP package will be available on July 24, 2023 at 9:00 am from the City’s purchasing website, Supplier Portal (www.boston.gov/procurement). Completed proposals responses must be as specified and electronically submitted by August 24, 2023, no later than 4:00 pm.
