Fire Alarm Services & Repairs

The City of Boston (the City) acting by its Boston Fire Department through its Commissioner (the Official) hereby invites sealed bids for the above-entitled project, and particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bids. 

Provide annual inspections for the preventive maintenance and as needed repairs of fire alarm and life safety equipment at various Boston Fire Department locations.

The scope of work is further detailed in the specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following: Provide annual inspections for the preventive maintenance and as needed repairs of fire alarm and life safety equipment at various Boston Fire Department locations, inclusive of all the required equipment and materials in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 149 from July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2026.

Bids may be obtained starting Monday, June 19, 2023 at 9:00am by visiting boston.gov/procurement and clicking on the supplier portal and locating event number EV00012627. Services will be inclusive of all the required equipment and materials in accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 149. Bids shall be on forms supplied by Boston Fire, be clearly identified as a bid and signed by the bidder. Bid documents MUST be obtained online via the city’s website. All sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the instructions provided in the bid documents. All responses must be returned no later than twelve o’clock (noon EST) on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Boston Fire Headquarters, Procurement Office, 115 Southampton Street, Boston.
