Parent Mentoring Program

The City of Boston, acting by and through its Boston Public Schools (BPS) Superintendent, seeks proposals from businesses that have experience working closely and successfully with families and schools to coordinate parent mentoring and experiences. The successful candidate should have an established network and infrastructure to provide services, training, and support to parents and families. This organization should have experience working with partners serving urban students of diverse cultural, ethnic, linguistic and socio-economic backgrounds.

Proposals will be submitted through the City of Boston’s procurement website and Supplier Portal: https://www.boston.gov/departments/procurement. 

The RFP will be available on the City’s Supplier Portal on Monday, 07/10/2023, after 12:00 P.M. Boston time and will remain available until the date and time of the opening of proposals.

Proposals shall be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Monday, 07/24/2023, and open. forthwith following State and City procurement practices.

If submitting via paper, price and technical proposals shall be submitted separately in sealed, clearly. labelled envelopes on or before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Monday 07/24/2023, to Nathaniel

Carrington, Assistant Business Manager, Business Services, Finance Department, 4th Floor, Boston

Public Schools, 2300 Washington Street, Boston MA 02119. Failure to submit separate sealed

price and technical proposals shall disqualify the entire proposal.
