Kirstein Business Library Glass Enclosures

The City of Boston, acting by the Library Department, 700 Boylston St, Boston, MA  02116, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites written bids for the project listed above. Bids will be solicited from vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: https://www.boston.gov/departments/procurement.

All bids for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: KBL Glass Enclosures.

SCOPE OF WORK includes:  Furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to add glass doors and wall enclosures to the alcoves in the Kirstein Business Library at Copley Branch of Boston Public Library.

OPTIONAL WALK THROUGH:  Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 8:00 A.M. Boston time. Please meet at the McKim building entrance on Dartmouth Street facing Copley Square where you must sign in with security.

Bids shall be submitted by:  3:00 P.M., Boston time, Friday, April 1, 2022 and opened forthwith.

SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS will be available on or about Monday, March 7, 2022 after 9:00 A.M., Boston time on the supplier portal:   https://www.boston.gov/departments/procurement

M.G.L. Chapter 149 provisions are applicable to this project, including, but not limited to, the payment of prevailing wages rates, the requirements for insurance and a 50% payment bond.
