Response Due No Later Than: May 13th, 2020 at 12 Noon EST

The City of Boston (“City”), acting through the Health Benefits Office, requests proposals from qualified bidders that can provide General Consulting and Actuarial services for the City’s Health Benefits and Insurance Office. The City intends to award one or two three-year contracts to be effective as of July 1st, 2020. This contract is procured under the provisions of MGL Chapter 30B.

 

The RFP may be obtained on or after April 13th, 2020 from the City’s purchasing website and Supplier Portal (http://boston.gov/procurement) under EV00007888 or by e-mail to Marianna Gil at marianna.gil@boston.gov. All proposals shall be filed no later than 12:00 pm EST Wednesday, May 13th, 2020. Price and non-price proposals must be submitted separately according to the RFP directions. Late submissions will not be accepted.

  

The City reserves the right to waive any defects or informalities, to accept or reject any and all proposals, or any part or parts thereof, and to award a contract as may be deemed in the best interest of the City.  The award of a contract shall be based upon a determination by the City of the most advantageous proposal from a responsible and responsive proposer taking into consideration the evaluation criteria set forth in the RFP and price.

 

The award of any contract pursuant to this RFP is subject to the approval of the Mayor of the City of Boston, and shall be subject to availability of appropriation.
