Designer Services for Park Improvements

The Boston Parks and Recreation Department, acting through its commissioner, is requesting designer services, including site analysis, design development plans, construction documents, cost estimates and construction observation for improvements to the following parks:

BARRY PLAYGROUND, CHARLESTOWN, BOSTON COMMON SHAW MEMORIAL ACCESSIBILITY, BACK BAY-BEACON HILL, FIDELIS WAY PARK/ OVERLOOK PARK, BRIGHTON, JEFFERSON PLAYGROUND, JAMAICA PLAIN, QUINCY STREET PLAY AREA, DORCHESTER, ROGERS PARK, PHASE 1, BRIGHTON, RONAN PARK, DORCHESTER, ST. JAMES STREET PARK, ROXBURY, TEBROC STREET PLAY AREA, DORCHESTER, WEBSTER AVE. PLAYGROUND/ OLD NORTH CHURCH PARK, NORTH END

Additional projects beyond this list may be added on an as-needed basis.

Professional services shall be completed as stated in the “Request for Qualifications” which also outlines project fees.  Applicants must be registered Landscape Architects or Engineers in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  The Request for Qualifications will be available for pick up from the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3rd Floor, Boston, MA 02118. The RFQ can also be accessed online at: https://www.boston.gov/departments/procurement

The “Request for Qualifications'' will be available for pick up as of MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2024,9:00 am and must be returned no later than 12:00 P.M. on FRIDAY, MARCH 15, 2024.
