Adam Cederbaum
Adam Cederbaum has practiced in the City of Boston Law Department since 2006, serving as Corporation Counsel since late 2021. Prior to that, he served as the Chief of Government Services in the Law Department for six years. In that role, Adam led the City’s in-house counsel team in its work of advising the Mayor and City departments on municipal law and authority, negotiating contracts, and representing the City’s regulatory bodies. His work has included intergovernmental agreements about Greenway funding, various land transactions, contracts for COVID-19 housing and shelters, and representing the City in challenges to its short-term rental ordinance. He originally joined the Law Department as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Boston.
Adam is a 1997 graduate of Harvard College and a 2004 graduate of Harvard Law School. After graduating law school, he clerked for The Honorable Mel L. Greenberg of the Massachusetts Appeals Court, and for The Honorable Judith A. Cowin of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
