Environment
Our department is centered around Boston’s just transition to a thriving green economy and a citywide Green New Deal.
We support Mayor Wu's vision of enhancing environmental justice and quality of life in Boston by protecting air, water, climate, and land resources. Our work focuses on achieving carbon neutrality while working to mitigate and prepare for the effects of climate change, including flooding, sea level rise, and extreme weather.
