Upcoming Diversions and Shutdowns

June 6, 2026 – may 18, 2029

Green Line E Branch service will bypass Symphony Station from June 6, 2026 to May 18, 2029 for accessibility improvements. Trolleys will operate through Symphony in both directions but will not stop.

  • Riders can board or disembark at Northeastern University or Prudential, which are 0.3 miles away from Symphony. 

  • Riders may instead utilize Orange Line service at Massachusetts Avenue, 0.1 miles from Symphony.

  • Riders may instead utilize parallel Route 39 bus service.
