Kristina Desir is a strong leader and manager. She currently serves as the Program Manager for AAUW Work Smart in Boston, a partnership between American Association of University Women (AAUW) and the City of Boston which aims to offer free salary negotiation workshops to every woman who lives or works in Boston.  Prior to her role with AAUW, Kristina worked on several political campaigns, gaining experience in both community organizing and political fundraising. She served as the Deputy Finance Director for Steve Kerrigan for Lt. Governor and Field Organizer to former Boston At-Large City Councilor, and current Chief of Health and Human Services for the City of Boston, Felix G. Arroyo.

Kristina is a graduate of Oakwood University and earned two Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Political Science from Suffolk University. She serves as a Regional Vice President for Oakwood University Alumni Association and sits on the Executive Board of Emerge Massachusetts.
