Dr. Claudia Diezmartínez
Dr. Claudia Diezmartínez works with the Carbon Neutrality team to develop programs and policies that advance Boston's climate and environmental justice goals. She works collaboratively to ensure that justice and equity are integrated into Boston's climate efforts and the Environment Department's governing practices. With her work, Claudia aims to help Boston become a leader in the implementation of just urban transitions across cities in the United States. She previously worked as a Policy Fellow to develop regulations and policies for Boston's Building Emissions Reduction and Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO).
Claudia holds a Ph.D. in Urban Climate Policy and Climate Justice from Boston University, an M.Phil. in Environmental Policy from the University of Cambridge, and a B.S. in Sustainable Development Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
